The Great pyramid of Giza is a symbol of Egypt and the last of the Ancient Seven Wonders of the world. It was built by King Khufu (2589-2566 BCE). It was considered as the tallest building in the world until the complete buildup of the Eiffel tower in the 1889 CE.

The most mysterious about the great pyramids is the way of its construction as it is composed of over two millions of blocks of stone which are immense in size and weight (2 tons each), they are precisely set over each other which makes it impossible by modern standards of engineering.

There are many theories about the cause of building the great pyramid but the most acceptable one that was built as a tomb for king Khufu as ancient Egyptians believed in eternity life after death.
